The Award
Since 1996, The Hans Christian Andersen Award Committee awarded its honorary award to 80 people and organizations distributed in 19 different countries from China to Brazil – besides Denmark, of course! All recipients represent a work with Hans Christian Andersen, who has been quite unusual.
